Data Protection and Privacy

In accordance with the general data protection regulation 2018 CanterburyDTC is registered with the information commissioners office (ZA419355) to keep limited personal data about trainees for five years from the date of collection.

• Personal data is collected on D&T association data collection forms.

• The information obtained is shared with the D&T association for the purposes of certificate accreditation.

• The scanned images of trainees personal information will be kept by CanterburyDTC for 5 years as required by our professional indemnity insurance.

• Records are kept password protected

• Records will be destroyed at the end of the 5 year cycle
